After the Flooding on March 2nd… I’ve been asked these questions:
- Is global warming causing this?
- Do you think the bridge over the Post Road is wide enough?
- Maybe the bridge over the Post Road is clogged with debris?
- Has the blasting and roadwork on I-95 effected the river that runs under the site?
- Could the new High School have changed the flow of water through Darien?
- Has anyone checked to see if debris is being cleared out of Holly Pond?
- Have you asked the Town or State to dredge the river or basins?
- Do you think this is just from a “freak” weather condition?
- Can’t you just put a wall around your property? (I’m sure my nieghbors would love what that would do for water flow!)
